Today marks 491 years since that day when Martin Luther nailed the 95 Thesis on the doors of the church in Wittenberg, Germany. So instead of celebrating Halloween like the rest of the world, we celebrated something that's really worth partying about. Watch this clip from the movie Luther if you really have no idea what I'm talking about.
Didn't that just give you goosebumps? This great giant of faith later went on to write these very words:
And though this world with devils filled,
should threaten to undo us,
we will not fear, for Christ has willed,
His truth to triumph through us.
The Prince of Darkness grim,
we tremble not for him;
his rage we can endure,
for lo, his doom is sure;
one little word shall fell him.
